This knife is made from 52100 high carbon steel, with a handle of stabilized mallee burl. It is designed as a slicer, with a stiff spine and razor sharp edge and low profile, perfect for meats, vegetables, fish and all other things food that need slicing in the kitchen!
Like all knives I make, the blade is heat treated in a temperature controlled kiln to optimize hardness, toughness and carbide formation to ensure the steel can perform to the maximum of it’s capabilities! This helps guarantee an excellent cutting edge and highly durable blade that is designed to perform with joy and durability over years of use.
It's dimensions are 170mm blade length, 37mm at the heel and 300mm overall.
