Carbon steel san mai chef knife with a brass bolster gathered from recycled materials and a brushed and hot waxed gidgee handle. The handle has a textured surface for better grip yet still has a polished and beautiful feel in the hand. The blade has a forced patina which creates a greater contrast between the cutting edge and the sandwiched material.
