This knife has been made from 15n20 high carbon steel and ground to have an extremely fine cutting edge for slicing meat and vegitables alike. The timber handle is made from native Australian sheoak and gidgee, both selected for their durability, denisty and optical pleasure making it a great all rounder in the kitchen. 

 

Every blade that I forge is heat treated in a temperature-controlled kiln to optimize hardness, toughness and carbide formation ensuring the steel performs to the maximum of its capabilities. This helps guarantee an excellent cutting edge and the durability of the blade through years of use.
